Primrose Necklace

The Primrose Necklace is a dainty satellite bar chain, the kind of small detail that changes an outfit without you quite being able to say how. Holding it for the first time took me straight back to being about five years old, spinning around our back garden in a princess costume I refused to take off for most of that summer.

My mum used to sit on the decking and watch, ribbons coming loose, grass stains on my knees, spinning until I was too dizzy to stand and doing it again anyway. I wore that costume to dance classes, wore it round the garden, wore it to the shop once until she gently talked me out of it. Everything back then was sweet and a little sparkly, and I loved every bit of it without a second thought.

This necklace holds onto that same feeling. Not the costume itself, more the joy underneath it, the kind that doesn't need a reason and doesn't ask permission. I think that joy never really leaves us, it just gets quieter sometimes, waiting for something small to bring it back to the surface.

It's dainty, timeless, and effortless to wear. A little reminder to let yourself love the things that once made you light up, without overthinking why. I still reach for it when I want that feeling again, spinning-in-the-garden lightness, and I hope it brings a bit of that back for you too.
